Netbooks

One thing I forgot from the last post...

Students will be returning their netbooks on Wednesday, June 9, the last day of school.  With work that needs to happen next week, students will need to have them up to the last day of school.  Be sure to have your child save all files onto a flash drive, as their machine will be "cleaned" this summer.  While the same machine will be returned to them in the fall, updated software will be installed and none of their files will likely be saved.

Parents,

As we approach the end of the year, below are a few things that are coming up.

1. For students attending the Kings Island trip Friday, we will be leaving at 9:00AM and departing Kings Island at 8:00PM (returning to DRSS around 9:00PM).  Please have arrangements to have your child picked up when they return.  If anyone wants to take a lunch, we are providing coolers to keep lunches cool.
2. All lunch charges need to be paid off ASAP.  Students will not be able to get a lunch next week without their card or by charging.
3. Lunch on June 9 will be provided by the school.  Smokin' Joes will be grilling out for us, and the afternoon will be spent outside with some fun activities being planned by Mrs. Helton's advisory.
